LEAPIN’ LENNY

On Aug. 8, my husband and I went to see the N.Y. Philharmonic conducted by Leonard Bernstein at Royce Hall, UCLA. Truly a memorable evening, until we reached our car parked in the adjacent garage and found the passenger window totally smashed, the ignition broken and reason to believe that someone tried to steal our car.

Of all the concerts (mainly rock ‘n’ roll) we’ve attended, the security has always been impeccable. Maybe the finer arts should take a page from the book of rock ‘n’ roll.
