Lendl and McEnroe Top Hamlet Seedings

JERICHO, N.Y. —
Ivan Lendl of Czechoslovakia, the top-ranked player in the world, and John McEnroe, the former No. 1 player, head the list of seeded players for the $150,000 Hamlet Challenge Cup tennis tournament.
The tournament begins Tuesday.
Lendl is defending champion of the tournament, the last before the start of the U.S. Open. He will play Ilie Nastase in the first round.
McEnroe will play Jaime Yzaga of Peru.
