Man, 28, Arrested in Woman’s Death
A 28-year-old man was arrested Saturday afternoon in connection with the slaying of an 18-year-old woman, police said Sunday.
Larry Halmus Snyder was arrested at about 3:25 p.m. Saturday, a day after the partially-clothed body of 18-year-old Tammy Terrell Williams was found near bushes in the 1300 block of 28th Street. Police said Snyder knew the Williams family and had been staying in their apartment in the 2900 block of B Street temporarily.
The precise cause of Williams’ death is being investigated, a coroner’s deputy said Sunday.
