Chile Colonel Kidnaped

SANTIAGO, Chile —
Armed men seized an army colonel in the driveway of his home Monday and drove him away in the trunk of his own car. The government news agency Orbe said a spokesman for the Communist-led Manuel Rodriguez Patriotic Front telephoned its office and said Col. Mario Orlando Haeberlen, 58, would be freed within 24 hours.
