Derailment of Train Leads to Chemical Blasts; 3 Hurt

TROY, Mont. —
A freight train carrying chemicals derailed Wednesday, injuring three people and forcing the temporary evacuation of the downtown area, authorities said.
Cylinders of ether in a Burlington Northern freight train began leaking after the derailment, “caught fire and began exploding,” Lincoln County sheriff’s dispatcher Bob Stright said.
