MIAMI —
An 81-year-old minister rescued a meter reader from a pit bull by whacking the dog over the head with a push broom.
“Right on top of the head,” said the Rev. Willie Parden, pastor of St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, who saved George Bravo from the dog Tuesday.
Bravo, 25, was released from a hospital after surgery for bites on his forearms and fingers.
