Shultz to Miss Summit

WASHINGTON —
Secretary of State George P. Shultz has no plans to attend an anticipated Egypt-Israli summit, the State Department said Thursday.
Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres said Thursday he expects the summit to be held in September.
Shultz has said that he would go to the Middle East if he felt his presence would move peace hopes forward.
