Winners Named in Bridge Tourney

Bridge experts Chester Johnson, Dan Requard and Herbert Taylor, all of Chicago, and Joan Williams of Lincolnwood, Ill., won the Knockout Team Championship ending a nine-day national tournament conducted at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton by the American Bridge Assn.

Earlier, Johnson and Requard won the Men’s Pair Championship.

In other events, Dwight Galley of Houston and Lionel Barton of Missouri City, Tex., won the Open Pairs; Earline Winn of Houston and John Washington of New York won the Mixed Pairs; Katye Gibbs of Washington, D.C., and Louora Hudson of Philadelphia won the Women’s Pairs; and Lizzie Hepburn and John Jordan, both of Washington, D.C.
