Music Group to Perform at Crystal Cathedral

The Continental Singers, a contemporary Christian musical group, will perform the program “All Over the World--Let Them See Jesus” at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove.

Now in its 19th year, The Continental Singers includes 25 vocalists and a 10-piece orchestra. The repertoire of songs composed and arranged by prominent Christian songwriters includes a variety of musical styles.

The group will be sending out 18 different tours to bring “All Over the World--Let Them See Jesus” to all 50 states and to 31 countries worldwide during the year.

Auditions for those interested in touring with the group as vocalists, musicians or technicians will be held after the concert at 12141 Lewis St. There is no admittance fee, but an offering will be taken.

Delegates to the annual Leadership Training School in Santa Barbara will present their report at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Orange Coast Unitarian Universalist Church, 1259 Victoria St., Costa Mesa. The three delegates who served on the staff of the school, which was sponsored by the Pacific Southwest District of the Unitarian Universalist Assn., will give a report on their experiences there. “Redemption of the Lord” is the title of the second sermon in a series being given by the Rev. Craig Williams. It will be delivered at the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday at Laguna Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave., Laguna Beach. Congregation B’nai Tzedek will hold an open house and Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to noon at 9669 Talbert Ave., Fountain Valley. Temple Bat Yahm of Newport Beach will hold a fellowship meeting for prospective members at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the home of Elaine Zuker in Corona del Mar. Rabbi Mark Miller and Cantor Alan Weiner will be available to answer questions about the congregation and High Holy Days, while religious school leaders and members of the temple’s board of trustees will be on hand to discuss other church activities and programs. “Give to Live; Live to Give” is the title of a presentation by the Rev. Leslie Scott Harrold at the 11 a.m. Sunday services at Capistrano Valley Church of Religious Science, located in San Juan Plaza, 32261 Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. Bible school for young people will be held, and nursery care will also be provided. In addition, the Rev. Leo Fishbeck will be the guest speaker at the Starlight Series finale at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Euclid Street Baptist Church is offering two programs Sunday dealing with divorce. At 9:30 a.m., Jeffery Hill, a pyschotherapist, will speak to junior and senior high school students on “Divorce: How to Build Unending Relationships.” At 11 a.m. the Rev.
