ROXBURY, Conn. —
A woman found dead in a hot tub in the caretaker’s house on actor Dustin Hoffman’s estate drowned accidentally, authorities said Sunday. State police identified the woman as Sheilah Fionda, 43, a teacher of French and Latin at the Wykeham Rise boarding school for girls.
The caretaker found the body Saturday, police said. Hoffman was not on the 92-acre estate at the time, they said, and no explanation was given for Fionda’s presence there.
