Husted Beats Holman to Take Bowling Title

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Dave Husted of Milwaukie beat Marshall Holman of Medford, 212-205, in the one-game championship match to win the Ross Union 76 bowling tournament Sunday.
Husted captured the $1,600 first prize in the $12,000 Northwest Professional Bowlers Assn. event at Milwaukie Bowl. Holman won $1,000 for second.
George Parsons of Tacoma, Wash., finished third and won $800. Curtis Messer of Aberdeen, Wash., won $600 for fourth. J.P. Muller of Portland was fifth and won $500.
It was Husted’s fourth regional title in his Professional Bowlers Assn. career. His last regional victory occurred in September 1985, when he defeated Holman in Medford.
