Anthony T. M. Robertson was named vice president of engineering for Micropolis, a Chatsworth-based maker of disk drives for personal computers.
Robertson most recently designed disk drives for Tandon, another computer products company in Chatsworth. He also has developed computer memory equipment for Burroughs.
Micropolis officials said Robertson will handle some of the duties of Michael W. Warner, who resigned in July to become vice president of engineering with Maxtor in San Jose. Some of Warner’s other duties are being handled by Ericson M. Dunstan, recently named senior vice president of engineering.
