Win or Lose, Dodgers at Least Have Fan on the Edge of Her Seat

Share

What is so surprising about dissension in the Dodger dugout? What is really amazing is that there has not been downright mayhem, considering the most frustrating, aggravating, injury-ridden, sign-missed, error-filled, buck short season I can remember in 25 years of watching this always exciting team.

Some short tempers indicate there is still a desire to win, and much to be preferred than the team that is so colorless in the “professionalism” that it is a bore to watch them, win or lose.

Never our Dodgers! They all stand tall in my book, but most especially Steve Sax and his continued enthusiasm, Billy Russell, filling in almost everywhere with consistent talent, and Tommy Lasorda, always full of fight and vinegar. A pox on all you boo-birds who don’t appreciate a team which, good or bad, always has the fan on the edge of the seat wondering “what in hell is going to happen next?”
