Laboratory tests confirmed nine new cases of legionnaire’s disease in Sheboygan, Wis., officials said, and a state health team searched for the cause of the outbreak. The laboratory results brought to 12 the number of confirmed cases in the city since Aug. 10. One death has been attributed to the disease, while 23 of the 29 cases in question occurred among people living in a 15-square-block area, officials said.
