Alpha Microsystems Picks Cortese to Replace Wilcox as Chairman

Alpha Microsystems has elected Richard A. Cortese to replace Richard C. Wilcox as its chairman. The company has also eliminated the position of vice chairman, which had been held by Robert B. Hitchcock.

The company said that Cortese will remain as its president and chief executive. It also said that Wilcox and Hitchcock will continue in their positions as directors.

Alpha Microsystems is a Santa Ana manufacturer of computer systems.
