A pop music group’s performance at the Hollywood Palladium was stopped early by police in riot gear after security guards were unable to quell a series of fights among the patrons, police said. The crowd, most of whom were Vietnamese teen-agers, dispersed peacefully and no arrests were made. Police said they were unaware of any injuries. The fights erupted while a band called CBC, described by a Palladium sound man as performers of “ethnic pop music,” was on stage.
