SUNBURY, Pa. — A gunman firing at random on the town’s main street wounded a passer-by Tuesday before being killed in a shoot-out with police officers, authorities said.
Authorities knew of no motive for the random attack by the gunman, Carl Zerbe, 56, who opened fire in front of a video store and then ran into a hotel. Hotel employees said he had been living there for two months.
