A man described only as in his early 20s collapsed and died in Runnemede, N.J., after apparently drinking a cup of chicken noodle soup that was contaminated with cyanide, authorities said. Leigh Cook, a state Health Department spokeswoman, said tests revealed “there was cyanide poisoning in both the body fluids of the man and cyanide in the residue” of the soup packet. Camden County Prosecutor Samuel Asbell said the man died Monday at a hospital.
