Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash., announced the appointment of Scott Oki as senior vice president-U.S. sales and marketing.
Oki was vice president of international operations for the computer software company. He will take over his new responsibilities immediately, the company said.
He has been with Microsoft since 1980 and previously worked for Hewlett-Packard Co.
Jeremy Butler, who has served as director of European operations since 1985, will succeed Oki as vice president-international operations.
