Plane Hits, Kills Motorist

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — A private airplane making an emergency landing because of engine failure slammed into the roof of a car stopped at a traffic light, killing the driver, police said Sunday. The pilot received minor injuries in the crash Saturday, authorities said. Officials were investigating the cause of the accident.
