Two former executives of Santa Rosa-based Centennial Savings & Loan were freed on bail after their personal bank accounts were frozen. Assistant U.S. Atty. Peter Robinson said he dropped his objections to bail for former Centennial Executive Vice President Beverly Haines, 53, of Guerneville, and branch manager Raleigh Yasinitsky, 29, of Monte Rio, after a judge in Sonoma County tied up the accounts, denying them “the means to flee, even if they wanted to.” The pair are charged with a scheme to fabricate large withdrawals by Centennial customers between 1984 and 1986. Centennial collapsed under heavy debts in August, 1985, and was taken over by the Federal Home Loan Bank Board. Haines was set free on $1 million bail and Yasinitsky was released on $250,000.
