Baby Survives Fall in Lake; 3 Young Rescuers Drown

TALLADEGA, Ala. —
Three children ranging in age from 3 to 14 drowned in a lake when trying to rescue their 5-month-old brother, who survived the accident, authorities said Tuesday. The children were playing on a pier Monday at Lake Logan Martin when their infant brother fell in and they jumped in to save him, authorities said. The infant was pulled from the water and revived by employees of a nearby resort.
