Campbell Soup Co. reported that its fourth-quarter and fiscal year net income rose by about 21% and 14%, respectively, over last year, largely because of new products in its soup group. Campbell President R. Gordon McGovern said the main reason for the positive results was the performance of the company’s soup group, which grew by almost 6% because of the introduction of several new products.
