Santa Monica : College Board OKs Budget
The Santa Monica College Board of Trustees has approved a $37.5-million budget for 1986-87, including a 5% salary increase for faculty members.
Expenditures will increase more than 12% and income is expected to go up by 4.8%. The difference will be made up from the district’s surplus of $2.4 million.
The district expects to receive more than $30 million from the state, including $1.39 million in lottery revenue. The rest of the income will come from federal and local sources.
