San Diego
Two men have been arrested in the investigation of a Los Angeles slaying after they were found asleep in the victim’s car Thursday morning by San Diego police officers, authorities said.
Police Officers Josef Adriany and James English were checking the Marston Point area of Balboa Park when they noticed the two men asleep in a parked car.
The officers remembered seeing the same car in the area during the last several days and ran a computer check on it, according to police spokesman Bill Robinson. The check revealed that the car belonged to a Los Angeles resident found slain Monday, he said.
Arrested were Gabriel Comacho, 23, and Fernando Sanchez, 26. The two will be held in Los Angeles while the investigation continues, Robinson said.
