Yorba Linda : Man Killed When Motorcycle Hits Tree
A Fullerton man was killed early Saturday when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a tree, police said.
Lt. Jim Winder said Torey Leon Shinault, 18, was riding east on Bastanchury Road just east of Eureka Avenue about 12:30 a.m. when he lost control of his 1986 Kawasaki and slammed into the tree.
Police said Shinault, who was exceeding the posted 40 m.p.h. speed limit, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The accident remains under investigation.
