Orange : Friends Offer Reward in Hit-and-Run Death
Friends of Irene Souter, the victim of a hit-and-run accident last Tuesday, are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the driver who rammed her car from behind.
Souter, 45, of Orange died of internal injuries. The impact forced her car head-on into a tree just south of St. John Place. Her son, Stephen, 16, was injured in the crash.
Penny Meany, one of Souter’s friends, said $1,000 has been raised thus far for the reward fund.
Anyone with information can call the California Highway Patrol at (714) 547-8318 or Meany at (714) 838-9118.
