BOMA to Cite Four Buildings

The 1986 Building of the Year Awards luncheon will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. on the Queen Mary by the Building Owners and Managers Assn. of Greater Los Angeles, with John C. Cushman III, president and chief executive officer of Cushman Realty Corp., as guest speaker.

Awards will be presented in four categories of office buildings, including structures under 100,000 square feet, 100,000 to 500,000 square feet, over 500,000 square feet and historical buildings (at least 50 years old).

According to BOMA Los Angeles president Barbara S. Harris, vice president of the Murdock Management Co., “The Office Building of the Year Award” is being given for the first time and will be open in the future to all commercial office buildings in Los Angeles County.
