Cornwall Fans
Perhaps the most enriching aspect of travel is the research one does before and after the historic places visited. Your Travel Section plays a big part in this for us. Twice now I have included your articles in my suitcase. The articles on Cornwall March 9 by Paul Dean and Gloria Lopez were folded and unfolded several times as I showed them to B&B; prospects and to fellow travelers. I felt that they were very pleased to see how England--Cornwall in this case--is emphasized in California.
After having read the article on St. Endocks Church near Tintagel and seeing the picture on the front page, I was excited to discover it from the boat--beyond the headlands and peeking up behind a sandy cove. When the guide explained the history I said, “I read about it in the Times,” and showed the articles to a passenger. Thank you to all your writers.
