Booklets Invaluable

We’ve just had a very enjoyable vacation in Europe, with our four children, thanks to a booklet we read about in the Times Travel Section. It’s “Europe Free; the Car, Van & RV Guide.” It told us not only how and where to rent or buy an RV but gave valuable tips on driving, security, finding the best campsites, and even how to ask about restrooms in six languages. This was invaluable in our family situation.

We also made good use of “Patty’s On-the-Road Gourmet” from the same folks. It tells how to shop in open-air markets and supermarkets, and easily cook tasty meals that even the kids like.

The booklets are $5.95 each from David Shore, 1437 Lucile Ave., Los Angeles 90026. We recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Europe.
