Boy, 6, Dies in Car Crash
A 6-year-old Alhambra boy was killed Sunday morning in a chain-reaction crash on the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said.
The victim, Peter Yang, was a passenger in one of three cars that stacked up behind a disabled car near the New Avenue off-ramp. They, in turn, were struck by a car driven by Fred Anthony, 62, of Diamond Bar, crushing the three cars together, the CHP said.
The boy’s sister, Eunice Yang, 15, was critically injured. Both were wearing seat belts, officers said.
