Santa Ana : D.A. Files Complaint Against Car Dealership
The district attorney’s office said Monday that it has filed a civil complaint against Santa Ana Chrysler/Plymouth/Isuzu, charging it with false and misleading advertising and unfair business practices.
A prepared statement issued by Deputy Dist. Atty. Elise Cuen said investigators are looking into similar charges against other auto dealerships in Orange County.
Cuen said the complaint charged the auto agency with failing to clearly disclose to buyers the terms under which a car can be bought or leased, advertising a charge for services not performed, and advertising vehicles to be “fully factory equipped” when they are not.
Officials of the auto dealership could not be reached for comment.
