Tillman Stops Holman in Sixth Round, Now 12-1

LAS VEGAS —
Olympic champion Henry Tillman of Los Angeles raised his record to 12-1 Wednesday night by stopping Oscar Holman of Philadelphia in 2:31 of the sixth round of a scheduled 10-round cruiserweight bout.
Tillman, 193 1/2, the 1984 Olympic gold medalist, earned his ninth knockout in 13 fights. Holman, 198 1/2, lost his fourth straight fight and fell to 9-8-1.
