16 Die in Bus Accident

DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania — A bus plunged into a river near Mt. Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania, killing 16 people and injuring 45, police reported Friday. Police said the bus veered off a highway between the towns of Moshi and Arusha on Thursday night and fell into the Karanga River, 85 feet below the road.
