Boston Hotel Evacuated as Smoke Fills Building

BOSTON — More than 250 guests and residents of the Copley Square Hotel were evacuated Saturday when smoke from a fire in a first-floor cafe filled the building, officials said. No injuries were reported among the 257 occupants who fled the fire, which officials said was probably caused by careless disposal of cigarettes.
