Irvine : UC Irvine to Hold 10K Walk for Poison Center

UC Irvine will host a 10-kilometer walk Oct. 11 to raise $40,000 for the Regional Poison Center of Orange County.
A free picnic will take place after the walk, with the Disneyland Hotel’s Claim-jumper Band, the hotel’s dancing bear mascot and animals from the Santa Ana Zoo on hand to entertain children.
Registration for the fund-raiser begins at 8 a.m. at the Crawford Hall gymnasium. The walk begins at 9.
