Glenn Ford Sued for $1 Million

A woman claiming to be actor Glenn Ford’s former fiancee filed a $1-million lawsuit against him Wednesday, claiming he threatened to harm her and took back a $35,000 car when they broke off their engagement.

Actress Debra L. Morris said she was living with Ford earlier this year when he “began a course of outrageous conduct” and wound up throwing her belongings into the garage.

According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Morris is seeking return of the 1986 Cadillac Eldorado, a declaration from the court that she can keep her diamond engagement ring and $1 million in punitive damages. Ford’s attorney could not be reached for comment late Wednesday.
