Guard Dwayne Polee, the Clippers’ third-round pick in the 1986 draft, signed a contract with the club. A source said the former Pepperdine star received a one-year deal.
The Clippers also announced the signings of center Tim Kempton, guards Jose Slaughter, Bobby Parks, Nigel Lloyd and forward Steffond Johnson. Kempton, from Notre Dame, was drafted in the fifth round. Still unsigned are free agents Darnell Valentine, Ozell Jones and Sam Williams.
The Clippers open training camp today at Cal Poly Pomona.
