Architect Gin Wong has pledged a $250,000 gift to USC, his alma mater, to be used in the construction of a conference center as part of a new graduate facility for the university’s School of Architecture.

Wong has been a USC trustee since 1983.

Since his graduation from the School of Architecture in 1950, he has been largely responsible for the university’s campus design while serving as vice president for design at the former Pereira and Luckman firm and later as president of William L. Pereira Associates.
