The head of a Sunset Strip entertainment firm pleaded guilty to conspiring with the owner of a traffic school to provide false completion certificates to hundreds of people cited for drunk driving. Ross Berton, 39, will be sentenced Oct. 20. Co-defendant Yankel Marcus, 33, owner of the Shomer Traffic School in Westwood, faces an Oct. 31 preliminary hearing.
