Home-Delivery Price Increase for The Times
- Share via
Effective Oct. 20, the home-delivered price of The Times will be increased from $2.50 to $2.85 per week for daily and Sunday service. The rate for daily-only home delivery will increase from $2 to $2.35. There will be no change in the Sunday-only subscription rate and no change in single-copy newsstand rates.
The new rates will go into effect in those portions of Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino counties in which subscribers are billed directly by The Times.
The home delivery rates are also the suggested rates for home delivery in areas in which subscribers are billed directly by Los Angeles Times dealers.
The increase for six-day and seven-day delivery service is the first in more than 3 1/2 years and reflects higher newsprint and operating costs for The Times.
