THE DISTRICT: Includes Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Saugus, Gorman, Canyon Country, Val Verde, Valencia, Newhall, Castaic, Leona Valley, Green Valley and parts of Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Northridge and Lancaster in Los Angeles County; Simi Valley, Piru, Ojai, Oak View, New Cuyama and Cuyama in Ventura County, and Buellton, Lompoc, Solvang, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos and Los Alamos in Santa Barbara County. Republicans outnumber Democrats by 52.2% to 37.6%. The largest employer in the diverse district, which is split among three counties, is Vandenberg Air Force Base.
