San Diego College Soccer : USIU Defeats Cal State Fullerton

United States International University kept Cal State Fullerton from scoring a goal Wednesday, but USIU still had to settle for a 2-1 nonconference soccer victory.

Fullerton got its only goal when USIU’s Jorge Huerta accidently knocked the ball into his team’s net late in the game.

Jon Sissons and Per Ola Lindkevist scored for USIU (4-2-1). Fullerton is 2-8-2.

Cal State San Bernardino 5, Point Loma Nazarene 0--Point Loma (3-8) was overpowered in the nonconference match at Point Loma. San Bernardino is 6-5.

San Diego State 5, UC Irvine 0--Center forward Kyle Whittemore scored two goals and had an assist to pace the Aztecs (3-0, 9-2) to the Southwest Soccer Conference victory at home. Irvine falls to 4-8 overall.
