PONTRHYDYFEN, Wales —
A double-decker bus ran off a road and plunged down a 40-foot embankment Thursday, injuring 58 people, police said.
The cause of the crash near this tiny village, the hometown of the late actor Richard Burton 190 miles west of London, was under investigation.
The bus was carrying 75 shoppers on the way to a supermarket when it ran off a road, tumbled down the embankment and had its top deck sheared off.
