Man’s Body Found Near Freeway in Orange
The body of an unidentified man who appeared to have been dead at least a week was found Friday near the Garden Grove Freeway in Orange, police said.
The body, believed to be that of an elderly man, was discovered near a fence by gardeners working at a condominium complex in the 3500 block of Park Balboa Avenue. The area immediately surrounding the body had been cleared of foliage, and a tarp was found nearby, leading police to believe that the man may have been living there, Orange police spokesman Bob Gustafson said.
Police found no apparent signs of injury on the body, Gustafson said. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Walsh or Investigator Martinez of the Orange police at (714) 532-0361 or 532-0253.
