Roundups of Illegal Aliens by Harold Ezell’s INS

Share

In the article “Latinos Say INS Raids are Political Moves” (Sept. 20) you quote Nativo Lopez stating that there is a movement to gain political momentum to raise support for stricter immigration laws. Is this supposed to be news? Did Lopez fall off the turnip truck?

Yes, we definitely want stricter immigration laws. Everyone I come into contact with wants these laws tightened. We are tired of the overcrowding. We are tired of our jobs being taken by illegals. Younger, able-bodied people on welfare should be given the choice of taking lower-paying jobs or having their welfare payments cut off.

I’m tired of seeing our cities littered with illegals and their procreated broods. Enough is enough. We will prevail.
