The number of people satisfied with the way things are going in the country has declined from 66% in March--the highest percentage recorded in the seven years the measurement has been taken--to 58% today, according to the Gallup Poll. The current figure, however, remains the next highest recorded. The percentage of Americans who are satisfied with the way things are going in their own personal lives remains at a seven-year high point of 84%.
