Re the Oct. 5 letter from Al Scott of Santa Rosa concerning our car, van and RV travel guide: Is he suggesting that prospective travelers seek information in the sales brochures of a commercial car dealer instead of taking advantage of the money-saving tips in an impartial 60-page travel guide? In a thorough check of our records we do not find an Al Scott among the more than 1,500 purchasers. If he had sent us $5.95 and then been dissatisfied with the information he received, he could have requested a refund (no one has yet), or he might have called us up with specific questions, as many readers have. Our number is in the booklet.
