Soviet Kin to Emigrate, Canadian Pianist Told

Concert pianist Inna Zarankin said she has been told that Soviet authorities have agreed to let her mother and grandmother emigrate after nine years of refusing them exit visas.

“It’s very exciting--you can’t imagine how I feel,” she said Saturday. Zarankin, 33, who came to Canada in 1978 with her husband and two daughters.
