West Covina : BKK Rate Hike Approved

The City Council voted this week to approve BKK Corp.’s request for a rate increase of $3.85 per ton deposited at its dump in West Covina. BKK customers now will pay $11.55 to dump a ton of refuse before noon and $12.65 after noon.
BKK officials had said that the increase was needed to meet new regulations in the construction of a non-hazardous-waste area.
